Via Dolorosa - a series of 18 paintings by Jerzy Duda-Gracz, the painter born in Czestochowa, votive offering. It was consecrated on September 8, 2001.
The paintings have been placed in the third part of the Chapel of Our Lady, in the so-called "upper place" (entrance through the Knights' Hall).
The painter said about his works:
I do care the Golgotha of Jasna Góra has not been a picture story from 2000 years ago, and being in a good frame of mind (it was not us who crucified) we celebrate It on Good Friday…
