"Witnesses of the Persecuted Church. Mission of Maria Teresa Carloni" exhibition

An exhibition: "Witnesses of the Persecuted Church. Mission of Maria Teresa Carloni" was opened in St. Roch's Bastion on September 14th, 2013.

The ceremony began with the Holy Mass at 2 PM in the Chapel of Our Lady. After the Mass, the participants proceded to St Roch's Bastion where the Jasna Gora Collections Curator, Fr. Jan Golonka OSPPE, introduced the audience to the exhibition theme. Among the participants there were guardians of Maria Teresa Carloni Archive in Italy: Don Alberto Di Chio and Luciana Mirii.

"Maria Teresa Carloni, a twentieth century mystic, is better known in Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, and Bulgaria than in her native Italy. Known as the “Voice of the Silenced Church”, she dedicated her whole life to the persecuted Church under the Communist Regime during the Cold War."
